La banda de glam metal Mötley Crüe firmaron un acuerdo este miércoles que disolverá de forma permanente al legendario grupo luego de una gira final.
Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx y Tommy Lee se reunieron este martes en un hotel de Hollywood este martes para la ceremonia de la firma, que según su abogado terminará de una forma pacífica las actividades de la agrupación.
"Otras bandas se han separado con rencor y con la imposibilidad de la gente de llevarse bien, pero esto es mutuo entre todos los cuatro miembros originales y una decisión pacífica para pasar a otras actividades y para confirmarlo con un acuerdo vinculante", afirmó el abogado Doug Mark.
Mötley Crüe, ha vendido más de 80 millones de álbumes desde que entró a la escena musical en 1981, pero según el baterista Tommy Lee "todo debe de llegar a un final".
La primera presentación de The Final Tour, la gira de despedida, será en Grand Rapids, Michigan, el próximo 2 de julio.
El acuerdo para disolver a la agrupación será efectivo a finales de 2015, luego de la gira mundial que incluye a Alice Cooper.
