AVATARIUM es el nuevo proyecto dirigido por Leif Edling, el bajista fundador y principal compositor de la banda Sueca doom y leyendas CANDLEMASS, que lanzarán su álbum homónimo debut el 1 de noviembre a través de Nuclear Blast.
Además de Edling, AVATARIUM cuenta en sus filas con Marcus Jidell (ROYAL HUNT, EVERGREY) en la guitarra, Lars Sköld (TIAMAT) en la batería, Carl Westholm en los teclados y Jennie-Ann Smith en la voz.
El primer lanzamiento de AVATARIUM fue un mini-LP de 12”, "Moonhorse", con la canción principal, el lado B "Boneflower", así como una versión acústica de "War Pigs" de BLACK SABBATH que se edito el 20 de septiembre.
